What this policy covers
TaskFox is an online platform where people in Pakistan complete small tasks — such as data labelling, surveys, app testing and translations — and earn money, and where employers post those tasks. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use TaskFox, why we collect it, and the choices you have. By using TaskFox, you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
We only collect the information the platform needs in order to work:
- Account details: your first and last name, email address, country, phone number and preferred currency, which you give us when you sign up.
- Google sign-in: if you choose to continue with Google, Google shares your name and email address with us so we can create your account and sign you in. We never see your Google password.
- Verification data: to confirm your email address, we send a 6-digit verification code by email from taskfoxsupport@gmail.com, and we store whether your account is verified.
- Task activity: tasks you post or complete, the proofs you submit, approval and rejection decisions, your wallet balance and your transaction history.
- Payment details: if you request a payout, the JazzCash, Easypaisa or Payoneer account details you provide so we can pay you. If you are an employer, the deposit details you share with us — for example the sender name and transaction reference — so we can verify your transfer and credit your balance.
How we use your information
- To create and run your account, and to show your name, level and trust score inside the platform.
- To send verification codes and important account or payment messages to your email address.
- To review tasks and proofs, hold and release escrow payments, process deposits and pay out your earnings.
- To prevent fraud, duplicate accounts and abuse, and to keep the platform safe and fair for everyone.
- To answer your questions when you contact our support team.
Cookies
TaskFox uses only essential cookies. A session cookie keeps you signed in, and a short-lived security cookie protects the Google sign-in process. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not track you across other websites.
What we never do
- We never sell your personal information to anyone.
- We never share your information with advertisers or data brokers.
- TaskFox only runs clean, genuine tasks. We never host tasks that harvest ID documents or personal data, and no task on TaskFox will ever ask you to hand over personal information.
Where your data is stored
TaskFox runs on Cloudflare infrastructure, and account data is stored in Cloudflare systems. Passwords are stored only as secure one-way hashes — we cannot see your password, and nobody from TaskFox will ever ask you for it. Payouts are reviewed by our team before money is sent.
Your rights
Your information belongs to you. You can see and update your name, country, phone number and preferred currency at any time on your Profile page. To correct anything else, or to ask us to delete your account and personal data, email us at taskfoxsupport@gmail.com and we will help within a reasonable time. Some payment and transaction records may need to be kept for a period for accounting and fraud-prevention reasons.
Who can use TaskFox
TaskFox is intended for adults aged 18 and over, because members earn and withdraw real money. If you are under 18, please do not create an account.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the platform grows. The current version will always be posted on this page with its updated date, and significant changes will be announced on the website.
